Alongside the East Kimberley’s wealth of natural wonders is one of the state’s most unique tourist attractions - Rio Tinto’s Argyle diamond mine.

To support the local tourism industry, the Argyle diamond mine is offering this special tour, providing visitors with a rare insight into the scope of a large mining operation and the history of its relationship with the Traditional Owners. As the world’s largest supplier of diamonds, producing approximately 20 million carats each year, this is your chance to witness first hand the mining techniques used to unearth the stunning white, champagne and highly prized pink diamonds synonymous with Argyle.

Note: Closed footwear must be worn Children 12-18 years must be accompanied by an adult

The Cable Beach Club Gibb River Road Mountain Bike challenge is a socially competitive team relay event raising community awareness and funds for charity. Teams of 2 – 6 riders raise at least $1,000 to qualify; half to benefit WA Police Legacy, the other half to a registered charity of the team’s choice. Soloists are also invited to participate. In three years this event has raised in excess of $400,000 benefiting dozens of charities around Australia.

This extraordinary life defining, five day outback adventure traces the iconic stock route of the Gibb River Road with overnight rest stops at Silent Grove, Mount Elizabeth Station, Ellenbrae Station, Home Valley Station and El Questro Township. For more information see www.thegibbchallenge.net.au
