Alongside the East Kimberley’s wealth of natural wonders is one of the state’s most unique tourist attractions - Rio Tinto’s Argyle diamond mine.

To support the local tourism industry, the Argyle diamond mine is offering this special tour, providing visitors with a rare insight into the scope of a large mining operation and the history of its relationship with the Traditional Owners. As the world’s largest supplier of diamonds, producing approximately 20 million carats each year, this is your chance to witness first hand the mining techniques used to unearth the stunning white, champagne and highly prized pink diamonds synonymous with Argyle.

Note: Closed footwear must be worn Children 12-18 years must be accompanied by an adult

This event will also be held on Tuesday May 18 and 25 and Thursday May 20 and 27.

Join Indigenous chef Neville Pinney Jr. as he shows you the delights of Bush Tucker with a twist. Neville started his cooking career in Kununurra at the age of 15 and started his Chef’s Apprenticeship at the age of 16 at the Kununurra Country Club. Over the next 4 years he had the opportunity to learn from many talented chefs’ cooking various cuisines. His passion for food took him to great foodie areas like Margaret River, Broome and the renowned Hermitage Hotel in Auraki National Park New Zealand.
